Mostly perfect
Things I've loved: I love the multiple compartments for keeping work things, gym things, and the everyday carry. The interior of the outermost section has three zipped compartments, which I didn't realize from the pictures on the website. There are enough partitions that I can have a dedicated space for everything. (I didn't know I would so love having a space for hair ties.) I was torn between the gold and gunmetal, and I'm glad I ultimately opted for the gunmetal. Because the bag is nice without being showy, I don't feel self conscious about walking through a bad block the way I would with, say, an expensive tote. This bag works everywhere I want to go.
Downsides I've found: 1. The straps are pretty wide and not very flexible; when I'm wearing it as a backpack, they're slightly too wide for comfort. I pull them in a bit and it works. I don't have any problem when I carry it as a duffle. 2. I'm always slightly worried by how close the water bottle is to the laptop; I double and triple check that the water bottle is tightly closed before I commute home.
Overall, the biggest win is having a place for everything.
